Leslies Motors has now been going strong since 1949 on the Isle of Wight. Leslies Motors is now the largest New & Used car motor dealer on the Isle of Wight with one in five new cars coming from one of are five franchises.
The business was initially started in 1949 by Leslie Vanassche, in Ventnor, and has grown ever since originally the site in Ventnor was just a Used Car site and workshop. Since then it has gone from strength to strength now with Graham Vanassche, Leslie's son, running the four sites. Graham who is based at the Northwood Mazda site has now been in the motor trade for 37 years and still enjoying it.
The used car area of the business is now run by another family member Brian Sampson who is based at Compass Trade Centre in Newport. He is responsible for the preparation for all the new and used cars so they are looking there best when they are delivered to you the customer.
