About the Business
My career in the motor trade began in February 1984 with the main Vauxhall Dealership in Reading, starting as sales trainee and senior sales executive until moving on to become Business Manager and Sales Controller. In all spending over 11 years in the Vauxhall Franchise network followed by 1 and half years in the Rover network.
Then after almost 4 years in the Insurance industry returning to the motor trade with Skoda dealer Ashmore Green Garage in 2001 to coincide with the emergence of Skoda as a brand within Volkswagen Group. Some three years later we moved the dealership to Newbury and I also became Sales Manager for Saab and latterly Suzuki; sadly at the end of January 2013 the downfall of Saab also brought the end of our group and all staff were made redundant. This has now presented me with the opportunity to start my own Business using the experience and contacts that I have made over the years.
